JapanAxe
Saw one of these in my local music shop today. Anyone tried one yet? I don't expect it would be very loud, but you never know what power management trickery they might have employed!
Sweeneythebass
Looking at getting one as my band wants to busk 😂 Anyone tried these?
mcnach
Hmmm... I'm pretty sceptical for anything beyond playing in your sofa. I bought a little battery operated "mini PA" (QTX QR10PA, around £140) 4 years ago for busking, and it's still going strong and does the job remarkably well. Pretty small, very light, battery life is very good, and that thing gets louder than required when busking with three guitarists (using the mini Roland amps), trumpet, sax and a drummer with a snare and hi-hats. I very much doubt the Eden would do better than the Roland Bass Microcube, and that wasn't very loud either but it's ok to accompany a couple of acoustic guitars. Sweeneythebass
Thanks bud, I read a few reviews and came to the same conclusion (more power needed!) your QTX seems like a good solution, particularly as the Roland Bass Micro Cube is £200+
basshead56
I've got one in my office. Surprisingly loud for 2w. Simple controls - Volume and tone I am not sure it would hold it's own busking (depending on what other instruments were being used) but it's great for a sneaky jam at work. Also you have to buy the 15v PSU for it separately. BUT - it is an awesome little amp!
