Raslee
Now that Orange have introduced the newer OB1's the OTB's are sadly being phased out, perhaps an iconic legend one day - well maybe. I loved my old toaster OTB. I had a fault on my first generationand out of warrenty OTB and Orange themselves fixed it for free with newer upgraded circuitry...top customer service in my books. Anyhow as the GAS prevailed I eventually moved my OTB toaster on but if i'm honest I have missed the crunchy distorted valve/tubes little blighter. So whislt tracking down the what I now understand as the last of the Terrors, not much in the UK unless at higher prices, i found this deal on Thomann £356 - Am sure thats cheaper than my first one was. http://www.thomann.de/gb/orange_terror_bass_500.htm So becuase Orange were so good to me, and I loved my old OTB, I ordered myself one, good business karma.....needed a spare anyhow, especially as i'm sure the wife heard a crackle on my Markbass head the otherday, ahem! Dandelion
Want one. Typically no spare cash when it matters.
interpol52
One workable sound. But so so good. I have the Terror combo 500 and an extra sp212 cab. Louder than Bombs.

JapanAxe
I was in Dawson's in Reading today and they had one up for £365. Not on their website though for some reason.
Raslee
I forgot how great these beaut's were. Sure...the EQ is generally naff, but the sound....yummy! Can't believe i sold my first one - but how have i missed thee! Sooo happy to get one of last few around. This and a Markbass 15" is giving some creamy sweet motown vibes at the functions gigs lately - love it
bassmachine2112
My opinion only-Mistake dropping the Terror bass all you need to do is stick a pre amp pedal in front of it and the EQ opens up as a lot of us know.. There is plenty room in the range for all of them.Valve-AD200,Hybrid-Terror,S/S OB1 that,s all basses covered. Hey Ho what do I know, sticking with my Terror and a totaly ineficient SP212 cab. All down to economics I suppose.

Wooks79
I used to have one years ago, loved it, but had too many amps at the time (still do) so sold it. I always missed it after that... As soon as they were getting discontinued, I bought one, and I imagine it's staying this time, unless money gets tight again and needs must. fretmeister
Why did they discontinue them? I had noticed less people buying them.
