iamtheelvy Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Not going to this one, but I'll be there for the GAK event in Brighton (traffic pending...). Who's heading to that event? Quote
such Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I popped in today and made the Toms (actually Tom and Lawrance, I think) aware that we have this list here. After they put a poster on instagram, they received some 20 email asking for a spot. Might be crowdy in there. Quote
Shockwave Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 I spoke to them today, they have been aware of our list for a while as I keep them updated. They have space for 40+ as they will be clearing the basses from the main floor to make more space. Quote
bcbass Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Can you add me as well on the list, please.Off tomorrow,so I can enjoy event with you. Quote
Sibob Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Looking forward to it, will be pushing it from work, but should be there for 6pm Si Quote

toneknob Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I didn't get a name badge Awesome event though. Well done everyone! Quote
cybertect Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Bluejay had one at least. When I'm done editing, I'll post some of the photos I took on my Denmark Street project site: http://streetofsound.uk (I was the annoying guy crawling about on the floor with a camera) Edited September 10, 2015 by cybertect Quote
toneknob Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Hi! You've probably got loads of me then. (I started off on the floor, got cramp, sat behind Juan, realised everyone was filming/shooting me, moved off to the other side again) Quote
Happy Jack Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Aha! That was you trying to knock over my Zoom kit, was it? Didn't you notice my Basschat lanyard? And wear some sensible trousers next time ... Quote
toneknob Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I'll be changing my board name to Disaster Area from tomorrow. I'd have worn me slacks if I'd known I'd be sitting on the floor! Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 LOL LOL it was a great evening, and Jack and I will have to download and wade through over 30GB of photos and vids. Updates to follow in due course. It was lovely to see other Basschatters there, as well as bassist friends who I am talking into signing up to this forum. Cybertect will have taken good photos from a different angle from where I was standing, which is awesome as we'll be able to give a better idea of the evening to those who couldn't be there. Quote
ordep Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 really enjoyed it! although I spent most of time waiting on how Happy Jack will react to JA's noises :-D Quote

Happy Jack Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015
although I spent most of time waiting on how Happy Jack will react to JA's noises :-D
Aaaaargh! Sorry Pedro, as with several other Basschatters in the room, I didn't realise that was you. Didn't mean to blank you. Quote

Silvia Bluejay Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Some shots taken from where I was standing. Preparing the pedalboard Choosing a basic drum machine pattern to process with the pedals - with Steve Lawson on the right Steve on bass, and Juan on tweaking a vast array of knobs! Some of the audience! Quote
