iamtheelvy Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Looks like a fun event. Bodes well for this evening in Brighton! Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) It was great - highly recommended! Have fun tonight, Dave! Meanwhile, I forgot to post the obligatory pedalboard shot Edited September 11, 2015 by bluejay Quote
Steve Lawson Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 That was a whole lot of fun! Juan's amazing, and definitely got me GASing for a few of those pedals. that reverb w/ the delay!! amazing overdrives too. That pic of me and him is amazing, Cybertect - thanks for taking it!! Good times! Sx Quote
GazWills Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 really sad I had to miss this - what were the standout pedals on that vast EQD board for everybody? Quote
toneknob Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 My tops were the Bit Commander, Arpanoid, Organizer, with Hoof Reaper bubbling under (2x fuzz and an octaver) Quote

Sibob Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Yes lots of fun, and nice to catch up with a bunch of people afterwards, although only managed to say hi to Jack, Silvia & Rob from the BC contingent. Spotted Ordep but didn't get to say hi. Very impressed with the Hummingbird, Dunes, Afterneath & Arpanoid, but then I already own the Organiser & Rainbow Machine, so I know what they can do! Si Quote
Shockwave Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 My faves being the Bit Commander, Hummingbird and The Terminal! Especially run all at the same time! Quote
GazWills Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 hummingbird is on my radar, glad that was impressing folks that hoof reaper looks very tasty too! Quote
Happy Jack Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Popped into Wunjo's to have a chat just now, mentioned the pedals that most impressed me and ... they'd just taken delivery of a pre-owned Afterneath and stuck a price tag on it. Well it would have been downright rude not to buy it. As with all the best comedy, it's all in the timing. Quote
Sibob Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Nice! Enjoy, let me know if you don't get on with it Si Quote

[/quote] It had a couple of minutes from Juan very near the beginning of the talk. His general impression was mostly "this is kind of new and makes some pretty crazy sounds" which was agreed all round I think. Quote
Silvia Bluejay Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Two videos from Juan's talk last week!
