ianwild16 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) Hello! I have for sale a beautiful example of a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. I have owned this bass from new - I bought it Dec 2006 from Sound Control, Salford. The spec for the guitar from the Squier website can be seen here - http://www.squierguitars.com/products/sear...rtno=0326702521 Its a great sounding bass which I've used for plenty of gigs - see pictures on my web site http://www.barefeet-band.co.uk/ However I have always used a case and so the guitar is 'dink' free. There are very faint surface scratches on back, but these are too small to photograph. The reason I am selling is because I bought a Fender Precision around Dec 2007 and I just find I'm personally happier with a Precision rather than a Jazz sound. Since I bought the P Bass, this has just been on top of my wardrobe not being used. (in a gig bag!). The bridge has been upgraded with a 'Badass II' and there are 'Schaller' strap locks fitted. The bridge was professionally fitted by 'Matt Ryan Guitar Repairs' http://www.guitarrepairer.com/ He filed the saddles and then completely set up the guitar. A gig bag, original bridge, Fender guitar strap, plectrums, the fitted Schaller strap locks, a pair of 'grolsch' strap locks and a set of used rotosound 0.45's will be supplied with the guitar. I'm not looking to post, but will be willing to meet up around the North West motorway system for cash on collection. ***I would like £180 with the badass, or £160 without the badass and the original bridge refitted*** ***I HAVE DROPPED THE PRICE!!! IT IS NOW £150 WITH THE BADASS AND ALL THE EXTRAS!!!!**** Cheers Ian Edited September 13, 2008 by ianwild16

ianwild16 Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) I've found an old clip of me using this bass at a gig - There are some more gigs with me playing it on youtube, but in this one you can see it more clearly... Edited September 3, 2008 by ianwild16

ianwild16 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 PRICE DROP FOR QUICK SALE - £150 WITH THE BADASS AND ALL THE EXTRAS.
Frusty Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 This is just about the best deal I've ever seen here - I'm assuming the only reason you aren't getting a buyer is the fact that you can't post it? Even so, I'd guess at this new price, which amazingly cheap, someone near you should snap this up within the next couple of hours.
Alastair Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 ridiculously cheap, If I didnt already have 2 jazz basses I'd be having this!
ianwild16 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 Yeah, dont wanna post but i'm willing to meet up around M60/M62 if you dont wanna collect.
