This is a version 3 which has a Magnabass pickup, high mass bridge and lighter weight body - around 8.5lbs. Unlined rosewood neck with side dot fret markers and it is fitted with status black nylon flats. Sounds absolutely great when played either active or passive - tons of mwah. For the price I don't think there is a better fretless bass - for me these are much nicer than the Squier Jazz f/l.
