This is the original Swedish built model, not the newer stripped-down Chinese affair. It's an excellent combo that manages to combine great tone, build quality and features within a very compact package that only weighs 17kg. I'm after £200 I'm located in Margate. jay-syncro Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 I've used the Drome for rehearsals recently and it's been doing a stirling job, however its maiden voyage as a keys/vocal monitor at a gig has highlighted a potential issue. It was a particularly hot pub and although the first set passed without a hitch, during our longer than average break the Drome went into protection mode. After some research I've discovered that the design of the combo allows the movement of the speaker during use to provide cooling to the electronics. Hence it's absolutely fine in use, but when left for extended periods of time it enters protection mode and cannot be used until it's cooled down. With this in mind, I'm reducing the combo to £200.
