Trashbat
We have a keyboardist in the band but I've a feeling he's on the way out (never comes to practice, doesn't show up for soundchecks...). I reckon the biggest thing we'll lose is the sample playback for some of the intros and in the occasional middle eight etc. I just had a thought. We've got 2 tap dancing guitarists. Maybe I could get in on the act. What would be the easiest and most cost effective way to trigger samples using a footswitch? Are there apps that would allow me to even use my tablet using USB? Do any of you guys do something similar? I'm totally out of touch with music tech these days so any opinions and advice would be appreciated. dmccombe7
Yep i went for the jamman and it does what it says on the tin. Easy to use too as i'm not really into fiddling with intricate effects. This was good and not too expensive either. Should pick one up on evilbay. Dave
DanEly
Our drummer triggers our backing tracks and intro's via Ableton live and a small midi foot switch
colgraff
Another vote for Digitech Jamman. Easy to store/record, huge memory and very easy to use.

EBS_freak
In the past, I've done the Jam Man thing. Now, I've delegated to a SPD-SX in the drummer's domain.
