An excellent pedal for guitar or bass, it's essentialy a volume boost but is actually quite versatile. I first used this on bass to switch between active and passive basses to match the output level, then when I didn't need to do that anymore I used it on my old guitar amp for some lovely sparkle as the amp was quite average. That was a nice bonus but these are really boost pedals that can give you more gain for solos, slapping, tapping etc, help when switching guitars with varied output levels or to drive valve amps when needed (did you hear that Ampeg users? ) The addition of the tone controls for the Custom Shop version is perfect, very sensitive and usable EQ.

Works great, has some Velcro on the bottom.
