Personally, you can get Hartke strings, 3 x 5string sets for £20 (aka EVEN CHEAPER!! and I've been told that they're as good as EB slinkys ) and they're a more recognised brand. There's a thread I posted in Ebay Links with 'em, if you wanna check 'em out?

I'm a bit more comfortable with a known brand name - will probably go with the Hartke's. Thanks for pointing these out.
bass_ferret
Probably just a name rather than what they are made of - considering the price of these and Optima Golds when you can get them. This often comes up - what are (insert name of dirt cheap strings here) like? Always gets the same answer - you get what you pay for and if it seems too good to be true then it is too good to be true.
acidbass
Actually, the Hartke strings are considerably cheaper than any other brand and comparable (as mentioned) to the likes of Ernie Ball.
