ash
Ugly to some a thing of beauty to others this is a late 90's Jackson Kelly Explorer type bass in good condition. A couple of dings and a bit of surface wear, the hardware has tarnish and flaking in places however frets, neck and electrics are excellent. The bass has Duncan designed pickups and has a nice tonal range for a passive. It's through body strung and has bags of sustain, it's light and well balanced too. Comes with original fitted case with keys and warranty card! Yes it is good for metal...pickup preferred but I can post at buyers cost UK only. Thunderbird
Are the pickups original or replacements from another bass? only asking as I thought these had Jacksons own brand in unless it is a Jap model Edited September 2, 2015 by Thunderbird

ash
I think they are original it's a late 90s model and although I'm no expert they went through various permutations. Controls are volume blend and master tone. The wiring is tidy and there is shielding paint that is untouched so I believe it's all as it was when new.
