I don't think many, that;s true, but they don't need to be identical.

True but they'd look better! Trouble is to produce the stand commercially you'd need to cater for all depths of cabinet, not so vital with the bottom stand but you'd want the top stand nice and secure. Width would be less of an issue however as your spacer bars could be bespoke.

Be good to see around the back of the stands too.
