Gunsfreddy2003
My Behringer BTR2000 rack mounted tuner does not seem to like the low B on my 5 string bass it just does not register at all when I pluck the string. Has anyone else encountered this problem? The tuner works fine on the standard EADG strings. Help!!!1 MJB
Kiwi
have you tried hitting the 12th fret harmonic?

The best help I can offer is the suggestion you get something else. They seem to be complete rubbish.
Lfalex v1.1
I so nearly bought one of the Behringer units, but opted for a Korg DTR1000 instead. Cost £140, but worth every penny (or should that be "cent") Accurate as you like, whatever the pitch. Makes setting up an instrument a much more accurate process. Put it this way; Everyone else spots it, plugs in and tunes up. Only the Peterson tuners are as good / better, and they're V. expensive... Happy Jack
+1 on the Korg - brilliant device and looks really cool while you're playing too. But it IS expensive and tuning on the 12th fret harmonic is a MUCH cheaper option ... and it works.
truegeminis
Another +1 on the Korg. It has no problem with the B string.
GremlinAndy
Yep I agree I have a Korg at the rehearsal room and it is great. Low B No prob. My Gig-rig has a Peterson Stroborack which I can heartily recommend! I have heard many owners of the Behrry be disappointed.
