goonieman
I know... I know... this has been asked ad infinitum But can I run my MB150E-II (GK) head into an 8 ohm cab? implications? Lower output - how much lower? I'm worried because the manual says this: Be sure not to exceed the recommended speaker load below. Maximum Recommended Load: Internal Speaker On: One 8 Ohm extension cabinet.Internal Speaker Off: One 4 Ohm, or Two 8 Ohm extension cabinets thanks
discreet
Yes you can. The only way you'll exceed the recommended speaker load is to go below 4ohms. So you can use one 8ohm cab (which is what you've got anyway), two 8ohm cabs (4ohms - addition of another 8ohm extension cab) or one 4ohm cab (with internal cab off). Just don't use an 8ohm cab with a 4ohm cab or two 4ohm cabs (2ohms). Edited September 5, 2015 by discreet
