I need a new speaker for my Laney RB7, I've extracted the dud one and it's a 10" Celestion , on the back end it says BL10-70.
The Celestion website doesn't have such a thing.
It's a 16 ohm speaker , also on it is : T549A ,10 LR and 50.
The amp is 300W
Any ideas?

you are best off replacing it with an identical speaker especialy as it works as one of a pair. It is almost certainly made specially for Laney, so contact them. Failing that it might be worth contacting Celestion, They have an email service branded as Dr Decibel and are pretty helpful. Laney first though.

you could contact Headstock who are the Laney distributors and see if they'll sell you a genuine replacement.
As above contact Celestion direct, or upgrade the pair to something higher spec so they don't fail in the future..

Both companies have replied!!!!!
Laney want the serial number and Celestion say that it's discontinued but have recommended an alternative.
It looks like I will get a solution.
edit - both of Celestion's recommendations are only 8ohms, I'll see what Laney come up with.
