The neck is wenge, you can tell by the look of the grain. I've had a bunch of wicks in the past and currently own two ovangkol necked ones. If it weren't for the tighter spacing on this I would have snapped this up, I really dig the finish!

Thanx for the info,it is a quality bass espeically at this price
Are all warwick string spacing the same unless a broadneck?

Fairly thin,certainly not a baseball bat lol
Not light,but not the heaviest ive had by any means bout the same weight as my g and l l2500 tribute

RE string spacing AFAIK they are either their standard spacing (ie yours) or broadneck. There is some adjustability in the spacing by a mm or so either way.
