fretmeister
I see on the bass direct site that the NG-2 is described as having a new neck shape. What's the difference between the NG-2 neck and the ABZ shape? I had an ABZ5 and it was lovely but the neck was just a bit too chunky for me - is the NG-2 slimmer, front to back? ta
gary mac
Don't know I'm afraid. Details might be on their spec page on the Dingwall site http://www.dingwallguitars.com/basses/bass-specifications/
Bearfist
It's thinner and nicer to play than my old combustion, quite a lot nicer actually but still not as thin as my AB1 which is just stunning to play, not sure about the ABZ but I would imagine it's the same as the AB1? Cameronj279
Can't say for ABZ but it's not as thin as the AB1 neck although it's still a relatively thin neck. Very comfortable and doesn't feel like you're holding onto a big plank. If you're anywhere near Glasgow/Lanarkshire at any point you're welcome to try mine.
