Old Horse Murphy
I've just picked up a mint condition Mike Lull PT4 which is basically a P Bass with Mike Lull Gibson Thunderbird-style pickups. I was fortunate enough to own a Mike Lull Jazz bass for a while and forgot just how amazing the build quality is. They are absolutely perfectly put together and the quality of the parts is amazing. This is Mahogany bodies with a lovely orangey brown tint to it. It weighs in around 9lbs but if anything feels lighter. Very happy apologies for the awful pics. I'll take some better ones shortly Edited September 9, 2015 by Old Horse Murphy
Chiliwailer
I noticed that had disappeared off the Bass Direct website, good work Nick! Those pickups always sound lovely when I hear them on sound clips. Very cool bass, absolutely love my Lull's Edited September 9, 2015 by Chiliwailer

ezbass
Nice. Isn't this the kind of thing Pino is playing these days?

Old Horse Murphy
Flats?
Absolutely it's currently got La Bella Flats on it but the E and A strings sound a bit too thuddy to my ears. I'll get some TI's on it ASAP
Old Horse Murphy
Well these Lulls are addictive. I'm having a clear out to make was for my new one. It's a Lull V4 Jazz and as always the craftsmanship is out of this world. Edited September 19, 2015 by Old Horse Murphy
