itsmedunc
Peavey T-40 £425 I really should keep this (sorry to anyone who has shown interest before) as I need it for a recording project but I'm in need of something like a Fender VI Hellcat etc for the same. So, would ideally like to trade for one of the above but open to suggestion. Try me I can only say no. Early eighties Peavey T-40 that will need no introduction on here. An absolute classic. Great condition with no faults. Plays and sounds really nicely. Has a couple of small dings and scuffs but nothing serious {shown in photos). Comes with original case which is still in very good condition for it's age. Probably the most versatile bass I have ever come across. Mimics an array of different basses. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OOLvGYHemPo Approx 5kg. Will ship insured only or arrange your own courier. Collection/meet up possible. timmchale2009
Pretty sure that was my BB at some point... An amazing bit of kit. If this is still here in 5 days and my Sandberg sells I'll be a knockin'.
karlfer
Sorry itsmedunc but always like to put up; 1. Secret sounds of T40 (VOL 1). 2. Gratuitous showing of one on my fav nostalgic photos. timmchale2009
Pity, looks like your Sandberg is a 5'er...
Yeah it is, I assume you're only after a 4'er?
FlatEric
Had some really nice trade offers but still undecided. I've decided to add a real price to buy and perhaps I could buy another Bass with cash if one of these sells. £500 for the Yamaha and case. £425 for the T-40 and case. Or, still up for trades... Got both of these in trades on the same day. Both are fabulous versatile pieces of kit and in very good condition. After a couple of days of deliberation, I've found that, although they are unique in their own way, they play very similarly. Hence, one has to go. Full specs of both basses are easily available online. Peavey T-40 Early eighties and probably need no introduction on here. Great condition with no faults. Has a couple if dings and scuffs but nothing serious {shown in photos). Comes with original case which is still in very good condition for it's age. Probably the most versatile bass I have ever come across. I don't know the weight as yet but it no where near the weight of a white one I owned in the 80's. Yamaha BB1024X in Caramel Again I'm sure it will need no introduction on here. I'm not sure of the age but will get onto it (same with the weight). Mint condition (I cant find any flaws) and no faults. Comes with Yamaha hard case which is padded internally. Ideally looking to trade. Fenders or JV are always good. Westone etc with thru necks and 22 frets. Will consider semi acoustics. I'm open to suggestions (basses, guitars, amps etc) really so please PM with any offers.
Unless I'm very much mistaken. . . . . this is one of my old Forty's.
