I'm pretty sure that a previous ad by the same guy, with a similar spiel in Drummer-ese has been posted here before.

Pretty sure willies were mentioned there too. Anyone else remember it?

You're right, here it is: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bass-guitar-SB-Humbucker-willy-strong-punch-/201303937766?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2edea652e6&nma=true&si=m8BC2WIi1c%252FoY9WpklZzLKOW7Eg%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I think I've figured out that "fredboat" means "fretboard", so maybe "willy" means "really" in drummer-speak?

Maybe - I'll ask a drummer, if I can get ours to actually turn up to practice.

"Willy strong punch" = comedy genius, whatever it means. Glad I wasn't hallucinating it!

The brown plastics on the back are quite interesting, as these are consistent with earlier '50s Les Pauls. Not sure about the rest of it, but it doesn't look too promising. Not sure about the mis-matched flame/plain top, the bare wood in the truss rod cavity or the clunky chrome tuners, which look like Klusons with different heads.

The top's a bit odd - in the fifth photo it seems to be bookmatched, in the fourth the two halves look very different.
