Shielding generally is pretty good on these, and humbucker fairly quiet ... If it's an earth issue, when you touch the metal bits it'll stop buzzing.. Quote
andysg42 Posted September 20, 2015 Author Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Thanks , lead and amp are fine , my smith and fender , no problem . musicman basses are normally bullet proof , had an aftermarket seymour duncan pickup fitted , assume changed from ceramic to alnico by the previous owner .might be wired wrong ? strange ..
