inthedoghouse
I don't use wireless myself but the Line 6 G30 seems popular around here :-)

Chienmortbb
Has anyone had any problems with 4G moblie phones interfering with wireless mics? It was flagged up by Ofcom as a possible problem but I thing we may have had is a coupe of times recently. Is anyone still using VHF mics? I was wondering whether the move to UHF has improved VHF. Phil Starr
I've got the Line6 G30. No problems at all but the battery door is as naff as everyone says. Studiospares have an offer on the Sennheiser version https://www.studiospares.com/Microphones/Mics-Wireless/Sennheiser-XSW72-E-CH70-Instrument-System_473530.htm
Chienmortbb
The Line 6 mics use 2.4GHz so should not be affectd by 4G phones. The Sennheiser system work on so called Channel 70 and is right next to some 4G transmission.
dudewheresmybass
Studiospares are doing a sennheiser channel 70 set for £125 at the mo. Reduced from £175 apparently
planer
I have the Smooth Hound wireless. It's tiny, bloody marvellous and the batteries last FOREVER. Jolly happy I is.
Acebassmusic
I (and a few others on here) use a Sony DWZ wireless system. I use the B30 version but there are several options available here: http://www.sony.co.uk/pro/products/broadcast-products-dwz-series-digital-wireless-packages I bought mine through Thomann as they often have good pricing on these. Mudpup
Sony DWZ B30 here too......... 1 year old doing at least one gig every weekend and its been faultless in every way. Got mine from Thomanns for £130 last year and they were originally over £300. Metal transmitter with a good clip, 2 gigs easily out of every set of rechargeable batteries, compact receiver runs on mains or battery and sits happily on my pedalboard. Highly recommended and Thomann still have some here http://www.thomann.de/gb/sony_dwz_b30gb_guitar_set.htm Edited September 22, 2015 by Mudpup
colgraff
I have the new (ish) Shure GLXD-16 system which has never interfered with anything else, is in a rugged metal case and has a rechargeable lithium ion battery with 16 hours of playing time and can be recharged from a plug or USB. I love it.

funkydamo
I'm thinking of taking the leap into wireless too. The line 6 looked like a winner but im very concerned about that battery door. Is the Sony the better option? Sennheiser is probably a no-go if as suggested its likely to be interfered with by 4G. The plus points on the line 6 almost outweigh the bad, but does the sony compare regarding tone, reliability etc? Where does smoothhound sit against the sony and line 6?
