Hi there. My first post.

I need some info on Ibanez ATK 200.
A couple days ago I swapped my old bass for this one. Since the ATK had some crap non-original tuners I started to search the web for some replacement and on my susprise noticed that all ATK 200 have rosewood fingerboards. This one has a maple fretboard. Then I checked the catalogues and again no maple.

Now I wonder was this maple fingerboard available on this bass at the time or someone for some reason changed the fretboard on a three year old bass. The nut is a little bit off and there is some glue residue on the bottom. The sides and frets are really well made. The bass overall is in good shape and plays well.

If the fingerboard is changed I will definitely return it back.

Here are some pictures, what do you think.

Thanks

That Atk from GAK with the maple neck looks like an Atk 1200 with the neck pick up
I dont think the 200 or 300 had neck p.u. or clear pick guard

Looking closer, the text reads that it is black! Then, clicking on the natural option the bass has the right pick-up configuration and a rosewood neck.

Thanks for replies.
American and European version probably have some differences in specs so I thought it would be better to ask here.
This one is definitely Atk 200, it’s made in China, it has smaller headstock with different logo than ATK 300, one pickup (new version, double humbucker), but that maple fingerboard really bugs me, it just shouldn’t be there.
