Split the signal into stereo, apply a parametric EQ to each side (top end one side, bottom end other) then route each to the right and left outputs and into separate amps. Yes/no anyone? Quote

You could also use the effects return as a second input if you have a 2 output bass like the Yamaha Attitude. Quote

Dood Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Can anyone say Helix update? I know what I’m up to tomorrow!!!!!! Quote
fretmeister Posted November 22, 2017 Author Posted November 22, 2017 Just saw that. Loads more Marshall’s and the Aggie DB751 some fun pedals too including a routing block to collapse stereo paths. That will be ace. Quote
charic Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Oooo the DB751 could be an interesting patch if it's close! Quote

Indeed has dual inputs etc (the guy was using a Sheehan replica Yamaha in the demo). I downloaded it out of interest, in how he had created the patch. Quote

I think i have those patches already but yes as you say, I discovered how to route the other connections to act as additional inputs or outputs depending on my needs. very cool. Quote

The DB751 is very convincing. Seems like fate that the day after I sell my Aguilar DB750 to be replaced by the helix that they gift me a DB751. I've paired it with a 3sigma aguilar db810 impulse and it sounds so close to the real thing. Quote

Dood Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Just running the update myself. Looking forward to testing it out but it will have to wait until tomorrow, I'm rack mounting our digital desk and router this evening too! Quote
fretmeister Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 I've wanted a 751 for years, but the weight of it means I couldn't cope. I remember trying one with one of the tall aggie 4x12s. It was amazing. Can't wait to do the update now! Quote
charic Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 If anyone sees any Helix Black Friday deals can they let us know please?! Quote
