It is excellent for this purpose as it is absolutely silent. Amp cooling fans are hugely irritating in my book, and this solves that problem by utilising a heat sink instead. Lovely. It offers 2x150w, low weight (despite utilising a proper toroidal power supply, no switch-mode malarkey here) convenient 1u size and it sounds great. What you put in is what you get out. I've actually used this live for a gig with my BF cab and it is surprisingly loud... Do we really need 1.21 gigawatts of power?
