1988 Musicman Stingray. So 27 years old, lots of dings / dents as shown in the pics.

Late 1980's Stingray are said to be some of the best era ones as a "transition" era.
All the cool pre-EB features are here; mutes, 4 bolt neck, bullet truss rod, metal battery plate.
A real players bass. Not pristine or showroom condition by any means.
The neck is, of course, very nicely played in, with lovely sign of wear on the gloss coating

Bassface2k10 has one from the same period with the bullet neck and mutes - swears by it. I think he'd price his a little higher than this - after all you get the bird's eye neck and the muted bridge which set these apart from the later models which, IMHO, don't play as well.
