Always wanted to get one of these when I first started out playing. Then Lane Poor pickups disappeared and I got a fancy for Maple boards instead.

They still look amazing though.

Very nice. I still miss my silver sparkle flea modulus. Do you find much difference in tone between them? I can imagine that the excellent build quality and tolerances may make them also identical audio wise?

I've got different strings on them all so they all have quite a different feel and sound at the moment, they really are great basses and I'm addicted!

Ahh, nice. Well that's a fine addiction to have. Fantastic basses indeed. I'm envious! 😀

Well, some would say it would be greedy to have more than one full stop! But that hasn't stopped you! (For which I don't blame you at all, as they are exceptional) Would it be too rude to consider a re-spray...?

Three lovely looking basses. Mind you, I'd be happy to take one off your hands if you ever decided to give it away, give it away, give it away, give it away now...

Groan, I can only apologise underservendly for that attempt at humour...

Would it be a greedy to have two black one?
A funk unlimited just come up for sale on basschat .........

I'd argue that you'd be preserving them for the good of mankind, a civic service almost... :D

Does this mean you have an infestation of basses?

I guess that some folks have an itch they just have to scratch...

I'll get me coat...

Excellent idea!!
I should follow suit. Find a favourite bass and fit different strings pickups to the each.

Now, should only take the next 30 years to find that "one"

Great clutch of Fleas!

It's only now that I have three identical basses, set up identically, that I see just how much difference the strings make to the feel and sound, but it is nice to have my favourite bass with the different characteristics that those strings give me!
