FuNkShUi
So,long story short, my boy switched my amps power supply to 115 from 230 whilst it was on and I was out the room. It's a Tecamp Puma 900. I have changed both fuses on the input, but it still doesn't work . Sad face. So something on the board has blown. Is it worth sending it back to Tecamp to repair? Or will they tell me it needs a whole new board and as such isn't worth repairing? I would have emailed and asked them, but there is no email contact that I can see on their site. So, what do you all think?

Norris
It might be worth getting in contact with the retailer where you bought it. I'm sure they will be able to get in touch with Tecamp

victor5string
A decent amp repair guy should be able to asses the problem, and let you know whats what.
Acebassmusic
Have you checked the internal fuse? I managed to find this photo off the web and added an arrow showing the location. Fingers crossed
RockfordStone
i can't offer direct advice, but when my amp went i searched a local repairer and he fixed it for me. unless its under warranty i'd find a local guy who can do it. will probably be less hassle
gelfin
Hi I think you are in the Cardiff area. Give this guy a call. Pete on 07974011421. He's based above Audio T (Hi Fi shop) on Crwys Rd. He has been an audio engineer for as long as I can remember and got me out of a hole on many occasions.

Thanks Nic, I'll give him a buzz if it isn't the internal fuse. Cheers everyone.

MacDaddy
Similar thing has happened with my Puma 500, except for boy substitute guitarist. He was switching it on, but instead of the power switch, he flipped the supply one. I've replaced the main fuses but will open up tyo check the internal one. colgraff
It sounds like the Puma design isn't all it could be. You would expect a guitarist to get it wrong, but not a small child.
