gary mac
What a glum day, thought I would cheer myself up with some happy tunes. Dug out one of those freebie cd's of summer tunes. Lovely Day by Bill Withers came on, so I picked up my bass to play along and finding it a bit of a challenge. Not so much the notes, but the timing. Anyway, enjoying it and its cheered me up. Who was the bassist? How about the tunes you lot choose to help raise the spirits on a glum day. Another one for me is Roam, by the B52'. All the best Gary. P.S. maybe this should be in off topic forum, apologies if so.

Kiwi
Fascination by Alphabeat its full on and boisterously happy 1,2,3,4 by Feist its uplifting and gentle at the start and climbs towards a soft euphoria at the end Switch by Planet Funk this ones not necessarily a happy song but its got an uplifting and cheerful chorus Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson, just because its got that gospel thing happening
Rayman
I find "Spy In The Cab" by Bauhaus is very uplifting when you feel down, or even "The Tennant" by Play Dead, I just want to dance and sing when I hear them.

(Enough!!! I get it!! Lovely Day! Now shut up!!!!!!!) On a similar theme; Beautiful Day - U2 Almost anything by the Stylistics Loving you - Minnie Ripperton Sugar baby love - Rubettes Any good funk, disco or Motown. In fact any cheesy '70's stuff, really!
