SH73
I am thinking buying SPB-4 pups to replace tge manufacturers pups on my Matt Freeman squier bass. Purely as I want to be able to get closer to Steve Harris sound. I am aware that there are other aspects to sound like him. My question is, would I need to rewire tge electronics ir add anything as SPB-4 are different frequency. Many Thanks
gary mac
You won't need to, unless you fancy upgrading the pots. If you do, give Kiogon a shout. He makes up high quality kits, consisting of everything you need. It will drop right in and you won't even need to solder your new pups in, as there is a connector which will allow you to screw the cables in. SH73
Thank you. I now upgraded the bass with spb4 with Fender pots. The volume pot doesn't seem to work in gradual increments. Any ideas?
