RaNoFuNkY
Keen for this, although I'm running the Great West Run in Exeter in the morning. Providing I survive, I'll pop along
Mornats
I'll be bringing my MB CMD 121P (as I'll need it that evening at the same venue) and as mine is not modified, maybe we can do a comparison?
Indeed! Is yours an Italian-made one?

MoJoKe
Indeed! Is yours an Italian-made one?
I will be bringing and demonstrating my brand new, knockout brilliant Indonesian made Multiamp, Tr121h and tr151, and we'll discuss and put an end to this "is it italian made?" nonsense! I'm hoping I will also have the rather tiny and equally superb new Nano 300, which is also Indonesian made, but even though it is a new product, distributors around the world cannot get enough as all that are being made have already been pre-ordered... Mornats
Well the MarkBass Italian vs. Indonesian test is on! If anyone has a good video camera that will do bass sounds justice it may be good to record it for Basschat posterity.

stevie
I'm hoping to attend. I have a newish all-digital Markbass LMIII I could bring along for a comparison with an older or LMII model - to see if there really is a difference. I've just put a couple of music-related books in the Recycling section for anyone attending the bash. Just message me and I'll reserve them and bring them along for you. ern500evo
Looking increasingly likely that I'm gonna have to bail on this. Gutted, am determined to get to a bash someday! Will keep trying to rearrange stuff but not looking good at present. 😞

I will have to leave at 3-ish as I have to be in Axminster at 4, so if anyone would like to see the Multiamp in all its luvverly glory it'll need to be early on. Also, and rather disappointingly, I spoke with MSL yesterday and they still have not received their stock of the Nano 300 or the other new amp, the Ninja 1000 (the front panel even looks like an LM3 which has dropped some acid tabs!!). Hopefully sometime after 20th. As long as not needed elsewhere, given some notice I can usually borrow their demo kit anytime if anyone wants to see it... Jimrs2k2
Hi all, to be honest I haven't been keeping count, but somewhere between 6-12 I hope, that will be enough to make it worthwhile. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there and the markbass gear shootouts will be fun. Jim.

Phil Starr
Hi everyone, although I can't make it I've arranged with Stevie for the Basschat 12" speakers to be there. Thanks to GrahamT for taking them across. Here's where the design took place if you haven't been following it http://basschat.co.uk/topic/227904-1x12-cab-design-diary/page__st__420__p__2847253__hl__12%20beyma__fromsearch__1#entry2847253
stevie
I hope everyone attending the bash will have a listen to these cabs as critically as possible. The next step is to voice them (as they say) and we'd like your input on this. I'll have a Markbass LMIII connected, and will be inviting you to adjust the tone controls to get as close to the sound you'd like from the finished cab. I'm going to try to bring some measuring gear if I can. I'd also like to point out that I'm selling an Eden 15+horn speaker cab, a 1,000W power amp, some 12" speaker chassis, an electronic crossover and some outboard equalisers on the For Sales boards and would be happy to deliver any of these to the bash tomorrow.
