Helderius Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Hi, I am thinking of acquiring a Music Man Stingray 1999 I would like to ask your opinion as to wood tone variation in this neck. I've never seen one like that. My best regards Hélder Luís Quote
Old Horse Murphy Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Nothing to worry about. The unfinished necks always change colour over time due to oils in the skin, dirt etc. I've had several Ray's that have done this. And there's nearly always a couple of tide marks, especially just below the headstock Edited October 6, 2015 by Old Horse Murphy Quote

Helderius Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) Thank you, fellows, for your help, I feared that the change of color could be due to something serious had happened to the neck. So it's merely aesthetic Edited October 7, 2015 by Helderius Quote
