xgsjx
A couple of years ago, I stopped playing in bands & practically gave up playing bass. I sold all my gear other than the bass itself. Tonight, I'm off to have a jam with 3 guys from work. Might never gig & maybe nothing will come of it, but I'm actually looking forward to playing just for the fun of it without anything else expected. Just glad the rooms we're going to are practically plug n play.

xgsjx
1st jam done & & it was good fun. Drummer hasn't played for about 5 years & I expected him to be a bit rusty, but he just played some awesome beats. Made laying a groove simple & enjoyable. The guitarist is very competent & easy to work with too, which is a bonus & we could work off one another doing riffs & solos. The singer was a bit shy on singing to start with, but once he started, he was worth the wait. Good set of lungs. Much fun was had. We're gonna have another in a few weeks.
