Frusty Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Bought this a while ago because I wanted to be Jack Bruce These basses very rarely appear on eBay, and they are in my opinion of much higher quality than the Epiphone copies. Currently strung with flatwounds and gives a surprising variety of sounds. Missing two screws on the scratchplate and a small chip on the back where someone installed a strap pin but in mint condition apart from that. Yours for £200. Frusty Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) EDIT: Messed up measurement - scale length is 32" Edited September 15, 2008 by Frusty
neepheid Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008
I was pm-ed asking about the scale length - the scale is shorter than 'normal' basses; I wasn't 100% sure how to measure scale length but after following instructions online I measured it to be 33". Although I may have measured it wrong and it could be 32". But I'm 99% sure it's 33"
33" seems kinda odd. Did you measure from the edge of the nut nearest to the frets to 12th fret and double it?
Frusty Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008
33" seems kinda odd. I will take the measurement you describe when I get home and post my results!
Frusty Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 I did that measurement - the bass scale is 32".
