pajhartley Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Here we have my Fender USA Standard Precision, rosewood neck, '95 according to the serial number. Black on black. I bought it used a few years ago, was my main bass for years until I bought two Limelights & this is now underused. It's the Standard version of the time - through strings, no S-1 switch. Pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarterpounder pickups, & it has the added benefit of a Hipshot D-tuner. Also Schaller straplock buttons. I used to have a Babicz full contact bridge on there, but I've refitted the original bridge. For this reason it'll probably need setting up to your taste. It also has a Fender shaped hard case, but I have no idea if this is the original case. Cosmetically very good for a well-loved, 20-year-old bass. There are a few dings on the headstock, very minor, & one ding on the lower edge, but overall the bass is very clean & a real pleasure to play. Looking for £850 ono, make me an offer, collection from Horsham, I'll deliver many places for fuel, will post at cost, just ask! I'll leave this on here for a week before offering elsewhere. JapanAxe Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Is the bridge through-body only or are there holes for threading the strings through the back lip of the bridge plate? Cheers!
