TheGreek
Who was looking for an 8 string recently?? http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/112426753/8-string-custom-made-bass-guitar-bison-design.html
tauzero
And you can use the extension pole to play pool. It looks quite nicely made, though there's not really enough close-up photos. The bridge does intonation in pairs, not individually, which isn't ideal.
BigRedX
IME having a single saddle for each pair of strings makes an 8-string bass unplayable due to tuning issues above the 7th fret.

In truth, the basic weight of a 4-string Bison would put me off. I dread to think what an 8-string weighs.
Beer of the Bass
IME having a single saddle for each pair of strings makes an 8-string bass unplayable due to tuning issues above the 7th fret.
Isn't that one of these Schallers on there? It does look like an oddly thought out bass though. I hope it's not really one-piece pine (softwood for an 8-string neck?), and who plays an eight string bass guitar in upright position? BigRedX
Having had a second look it could be that Schaller Bridge. When I first saw it I thought it was a Badass II. The string spacing in each course is way off though. Only the E string pair look vaguely right, plus the strings are the wrong way around from the normal octave string on top arrangement.
