Bassman68
Christ on a bike!, Just glancing through the classifieds & thought I'd discovered a Wal bass I didn't recall owning yet alone selling!
CamdenRob
I love the sapwood at the edges... very unique top. Forgive my ignorance but would there be extra taxes / import duty etc to pay on top of the price as this is coming from Aus?

[/quote] yes naturally.... my guess is VAT + 3 or 4 percent import taxes to the UK, on the declared value

Jebo1
Oh, and my dads business imports things from Australia sometimes and the total import duty on this bass will be £835. The majority of that is VAT.
thestick
Lovely bass if only it was already in the UK I would be very tempted
Baysman68
Forgot to say it's strung up with new Ernie Ball slinky 45-105....... This bass has been primarily a " studio only " instrument for over 2 decades. It absolutely barks like a dog. The reason for parting with it is that most of my studio work is now done with my trusty ol' 62 Jazz Bass and my Wal MK1 fretless.
