tonyclaret
Hi, I've been looking for a small guitar stand and like the look of this. However it looks like the supporting arms are fixed. Wondering if it will hold the unsymmetrical shape of the Jazz body in place. Anyone got one and using it with a Jazz? Cheers
EssentialTension
With an offset bodied bass like a Jazz those stands are less effective. in my experience.
geoham
I have one of those stands - It's not great for a Jazz, but still better than leaning your bass against your amp at a gig! Works perfectly for my other basses though.
discreet
Jazz basses are tricky. You may be better off with the sort that hold the bass suspended from the neck and have the body resting on foam-covered legs. But IME the Fender headstock isn't best-suited to this type, either. Buy a P-Bass! Edited October 18, 2015 by discreet
SICbass
That looks well risky to me. If your rig ist tall enough (and most are) I've always liked the Markbass Bass Keeper. Dead safe, and so easy to transport.
colgraff
I would strongly recommend one of these: http://www.herculesstands.co.uk/p/auto-grab-guitar-stand-with-foldable-yoke?pp=24 I've used one for years and all basses of shapes have been kept safe in it. One of my better investments for sure. Want something for home.

colgraff
Hi Tony, They do fold down to very thin and about a foot high. I used small stands at first and as soon as I got a "proper" bass, it toppled over because it was too unstable. Whatever you go for, make sure that it holds the neck and you'll be fine.
