JapanAxe
I just checked the 'Basses for Sale' thread. There are 43 basses on the first page, and 13 of them are Jazz basses or clones. To some this may indicates that Jazz basses are rubbish, the same argument having been recently used against Limelights. I don't hold with this. To me, it means there are not enough Precisions for sale for me to watch, lust after, and agonise over, without actually moving towards a purchase! Conan
I love jazzes, and own four - but I am a bit perplexed that there are so many in the marketplace at the moment...
TheGreek
I've been tempted by a couple - and I'm not a big fan and already have too many basses!!
Roland Rock
I've been tempted by a couple - and I'm not a big fan and already have too many basses!!
I wonder whether the OP included your Cora in the stats - not a clone, but definitely inspired by the Jazz bass.
Lozz196
I like Jazzes - might seem strange seeing as I`m selling one - but am yet to find the right one for me. I`d probably really get on with the Road Worns but seeing as I wouldn`t use a Jazz in my band it would be a tad expensive just for home use. Now i think they are beautiful. Saying that I fancy a P bass now but i constantly swap between love and hate with them and i don't even own one. jimbobothy
I've had a bunch of P's and J's in the past, went to 5 strings (still got two) but recently got another fretted jazz and Mc Luvin'it so wouldn't mind a fretless partner in chime ! Lord Sausage
I pretty much only play 5's, two fretted one fretless. I have that jazz and a jackson PJ which is closer to a jazz than a P but they hardly get touched.
cameltoe
I'm a P boy building a Jazz. Once it's done it will be on the marketplace 😉
