Luulox Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Is anyone else using the mobile version of the site seeing this message (this plug in is not supported) where a you tube clip was once embedded? No video just an empty box. Cheers Pete Quote
Roland Rock Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I've seen it a couple of times today Quote
alyctes Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Is this to do with the [media ] tag I keep seeing? It's invisible to Firefox, so it's hard to work out what the membership is on about a lot of the time... [Edit: It's visible above because I put an extra space in. And I know it exists because if you quote a post, you can see the tags.] Edited October 16, 2015 by alyctes Quote
Luulox Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Alyctes I'm not sure if it's connected but it could be. Quote

Luulox Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 That's it Roland! Hopefully an admin may try and sort it out, I miss my clips 😊 Cheers Pete Quote
tonyquipment Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Flash disabled? It's under a lot of fire lately cos of its vulnerabilities Quote
Roland Rock Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I'm no expert but a bit of research suggests that Adobe no longer support certain types of Andriod. I switched browsers to Dolphin and found a sneaky link to the Flash download, and it seems to work. PITA Quote
dannybuoy Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) Chrome disabled support for Adobe Flash a long time ago, Flash should no longer be required to play YouTube videos. This seems to be a recent breaking change in either the site or Chrome for Android. It doesn't work on my Android phone but I can see the videos on my iPad in both Chrome and Safari (neither devices have Flash installed). Edited October 18, 2015 by dannybuoy Quote

vsmith1 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I've uninstalled Flash on my Mac - too tired of vulnerabilities, multiple updates, resource usage. Quote
