Black Coffee
Just arrived, nine days after ordering it. Plays really really sweet out of the box, just had to tune it and google the setup of the array of controls at my disposal. Haven't had to touch action or the neck. Can't believe I've just paid around £320 for this total gem. I'm a passive bass player, and as such I'm not well read or rehearsed on active electronics but I have to say the ability to sweep the mids and control the level too is a cool feature when the active is engaged. Can't really say much more than has already been said by others. Another satisfied customer. Sire need to produce a P bass. That's one I would be buying too. Fisheth
Looks lovely. You've made me very tempted, but I need a new super compact first!
LewisK1975
Very nice looking - Of course the most important question on a Five string - What's the B like?
Marvin
Lovely looking bass there. I was very tempted to go for the burst when I bought my Sire but went for black, I'm dark like that If Sire produce a P bass I'm in real trouble as I'm skint
leroydiamond
Looks just like my brothers Sire. The best bang for buck that I have seen in a bass guitar by a distance. Enjoy
miles'tone
Nice looking bass! Happy NBD. May I be the first to ask the inevitable BC question.. Erm, how much does it weigh?
Bigwan
Sire will be doing a p-bass - at least they said they were planning to when I asked! So get the wallets ready!

Raslee
Congratulations , such great basses with brilliant preamps. The low B's are superb too. Hope they will do Precisions with a jazz neck
Fisheth
I might actually sell one of my VM's to fund these... Any chance you've tried a VM Jazz? Just was hoping someone could compare the two for me!

Raslee
I had a great VM 4 string, but I'd still choose a Sire tenfold over a VM, the preamp is certainly worth it for the change alone
Rikki_Sixx
I've never seen these before, but looking at the specs I'm surprised at the price! They're beauties!
