rosco Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Up for sale is my trusty TC Electronic RS212 cab. I bought this brand new with matching cover from Andertons in November 2013 and it has been a rock solid workhorse for me ever since. As you can see from the pictures it's been gigged, but never pushed too hard* and always transported with cover intact (*I've always used an RH450 or RH750 with it, so it's actually impossible to push the drivers too hard due to the design of the head!). As many of you know, the finish on these cabs is pretty decent, but not bulletproof (unlike my DRBass 1260, which can graze your skin if you're not careful due to it's 'roughcast' like coating!) and therefore light marks can appear very easily, with deeper ones (like the one on the back) being caused by clumsy, spatial awareness defunct BBC cameramen! However as every gigging bassist knows, it's unavoidable unless you keep it locked up in the living room for the entirety of it's life Purely cosmetic obviously and doesn't affect the amazing sound of this cab one bit (this box roars and can pump out a very direct, 'room filling' onslaught even at a humble 8 ohms). As a result of the 'gigged' cosmetics, I'm listing this at the obscenely fair price of[s] £350[/s] [s]£325[/s] £295 I'd really like to keep this cab in my arsenal as it literally sounds amazing, however it's surplus to requirements at the moment with the recent arrival of my BF Compact Gen3 cab. I'm based in Glasgow and happy to deliver to the surrounding areas (or further afield with petrol cover*). I'd rather avoid postage as well to be honest due to the dimensions of the original box and weight, but I can look into a quote if it's the only option for the buyer. Cheers, Ross *I will drive this cab to your door for a rate of 20p per mile on a day/at a time that suits you to save the worry and hassle of a courier. rosco Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 Thanks cameltoe It's an amazing cab that projects beautifully. I'd happily keep her if it wasn't surplus to requirements (and space!) at the moment.
