donslow Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Is it me or does that top horn look a little.........long?! http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201441286777 Quote
JapanAxe Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I'm sat here with a Precision, and I can say that the end of the top horn is in the right place, but the top cutaway is a fret or two deeper than normal, and the scratchplate has been modified accordingly. We need someone with a good knowledge of P-bass history to weigh in here! Quote
Beer of the Bass Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 There was Jazz model with similarly extended horns around this time so I wouldn't be surprised if there'd been a Precision too, although I haven't seen one before. Quote
Billy Apple Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 When did second hand become pre owned? Quote
donslow Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 Does the decal look like it's in the wrong place? A little too far left and down from my limited experience?! Quote
Twigman Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Looks like these so prob legit. http://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?t=30670 Quote
Muppet Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 It's a genuine model. it's a Precision Plus. 22 frets so body shape was altered slightly. Quote
donslow Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 I stand corrected, still Doesn't look right :-s Quote
karlfer Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) Boner. Nice basses that didn't last too long in Fenders range. Pup selector, vol/tone and button for series/parallel. Edited October 23, 2015 by karlfer Quote
