Jazzneck
Appears to be some action at last. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34615441 Now do something about the booking fee rip off at the same time.
PaulWarning
how does that work if you've not got a smart phone? Yeah booking fees, credit card fees, postage all get up my nose, but now I just add them all together and that's the price of the ticket, then decide whether I think it's worth it Edited October 25, 2015 by PaulWarning
spectoremg
Ticketmaster won't like that. There'll be smartphones sleeping with the fishes...
Cato
The smartphone thing only deals with the problem of third parties reselling tickets for profit. Ticketmaster will still be able to keep back part of the ticket allocation for any given event to resell at a premium through one of its subsidiaries. timmo
I was looking at tickets for Lionel Richie at Kingsholm, and enevitably they are on sale through Ticketmaster. There are tickets at inflated prices on sale at a site called Seatwave, They haven`t even going on general sale until Friday. Would anyone be surprised that seatwave is owned by Ticketmaster?
