colgraff
I reported this guy for attempting to pass off a Vintage Bass as a Vintage Fender Bass which is very different. He is quite devious and probably doesn't actually break the law, but as the asking price is vastly more than the new price, he is definitely pushing his luck. The price is up to him, with a hard case as well it's no dearer than new by my reckoning!
colgraff
There is no legitimate reason for putting the word Fender in the title unless he is hoping to trick a non-initiate into buying what they think is a Fender.
KiOgon
But I can't see Fender in the title? http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/107887438/vintage-jazz-bass-guitar.html

Even so, I wouldn't say Fraudster - there is no mention of Fender and he/she has put up plenty of pictures showing exactly what it is. colgraff
Ah - it has already been changed. When I reported and posted it, it read "Vintage Fender Bass".
Beedster
A lot of people, especially in the US, call a Precision a 'Fender Bass' in the same way folks used to call a vacuum cleaner a 'Hoover'. A 'Vintage Fender Bass' could be an old original Fender or a Fender Bass made by Vintage, same as a Dyson Hoover I guess?
