Big Bass Man
Hey everyone Warwick Streamer Jazzman I played one of these beauties this weekend, a 4 string in Ocean Blue - awesome! Please could anyone out there tell me what all the controls do on these basses (especially the switch) - I couldn't figure them out! Waldo
I have a 20th anniv. corvette jazzman, I think the controls are the same. -The volume knob is stacked with the volume on the top and pickup balance on the bottom. Pulling the top knob puts the bass in passive mode - The next knobs are your usual active treble/mid - The other stacked knob is active bass control on the bottom and on top is a tone knob for when its in passive mode - The switch switches the humbucker between serial/parallel/single coil (can't remember which order) Hope that helps you, you can certiainly dial in a lot of different sounds with that setup! Big Bass Man
Thank you, Waldo, that helps loads - it all makes sense now! I haven't played anything that good for ages - I could dial up so many different tones, so versatile! I found it so easy to play - shame it was only a four string! Would really love to buy a 5 string version of this bass - well maybe one day, eh!
