emmbirdgreen Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Have Lakland made any alterations/changes to this model over the years?
ordep Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 afaik electronics and battery location has been changed. hope that helps.
P-T-P Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Think they originally had Bartolini pick-ups and NTMB pre-amp, some made with Duncan pick-ups. Then pre-amp replaced with Lakland's own LH-3 system and later pick-ups replaced with Lakland own pick-ups. Battery was originally in the control cavity then moved to own cavity with quick open cover. Think some early models had a thicker headstock too as I recall having to get a replacement neck for a Skyline I'd bought and was sent a US one but the tuners didn't swap over so had to have new ones of those too.
lowregisterhead Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 A fantastic bass, and an excellent price. I already have one almost identical to yours, otherwise I'd be very interested! GLWTS.
ordep Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) Thanks mate. Indeed they are great basses. Very versatile and has a lovely neck profile. Would gladly keep this if it doesnt sell before the bass that I have been lusting is sold. Edited November 2, 2015 by ordep
