All this "porn" is well and good but I feel we need an antidote hence "THE ANTI PORN LEAGUE"
bit like the anti nazi league without the Nazi's....
Show us your battered grungy , worn , crap, antiquated wonderments.
I may even put a small prize up for the worst item of kit, (it will be small don't expect a bass :) )

If I hadn't just packed my cab in the car for a long journey i'd post it up. Its torn, shredded and battered. Its got cat claw marks down the side of it. It looks amazing. It was sold to me as some early trace elliot beast, 2x15" speakers and sounds great. I'll post some when I unpack it on weds :)

The most totally ruined item i've ever seen however is this orange cab...

Wasn't that the whole point of the anti nazi league? :) Let's face it, if they'd been up to their arses in nazis they wouldn't have been much of a league now would they?

Ah yes...but without the Nazi's they wouldn't have had a cause, so no need for a league, bit self defeating I suppose

Great idea ..

I've got an antediluvian Peavey Combo 300. It's the bass combo equivalent of a rat bike or James Taylor's primer '55 Chevy in Two Lane Black Top.

It looks, and smells, like it spent the last 10 years in a damp cellar ... which is precisely where it was until I liberated it.
However it works perfectly and sounds just right.

House fire, its Tony Levin's custom 3 string, he sent a funny letter to Ernie Ball afterward, I'll try to dig it up.

I like the technical information:
Neck: 2 pieces of maple (used to be one piece), with metal reinforment
Fretboard: maple, nothing and maple again
Frets: 9 pcs for playing, other for decoration
Scale: 34"
Body: trash with glue and metal strips.
For those who don't know this bass is from Bas Extravaganza and unfortunately it's sold.

Yeah, but the jazz with the tube is still there, pretty tempting!

Yeah, that one actually looks insane, a lot better than you'd expect from just hearing about it.

The aluminium jazz look cool too, but I'm thinking of the fretless metal board mainly, too expensive though.
