JwK94 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Dropped to £350 as I really need the money right now, its a steal at that price. Wont let me add my photos for some reason so Dropbox link added at bottom of ad. Up for sale (and sale only) is my Yamaha BBN5A (5 String) in translucent green/blue (or somewhere there in between), a discontinued model built in Japan in the mid 90s (This one is dated ~94/95), released alongside the Nathan East signature of the time, which is almost identical to the bass for sale (nathan east signature had a flamed maple top and ebony fretboard, but otherwise exactly the same specs as this). Specs are as follows: Bolt on Neck 34" Scale Length Rosewood Fingerboard with Pearl Blocks and Maple neck Alder Body with Maple top 24 Frets Solid Brass Bridge/Hardware 2 Double Coil Alnico V Pickups 5 Control Eq with Volume, Pickup Pan and 3 Band EQ with 3 position Mid selector A fantastic bass, really versatile. Nice and easy to play, action currently set nice and low. Have used this in a wide variety of styles. In excellent condition for a 20 or so year old bass. There are unfotunately a couple of small dings as show in the photos but as you'll see they arent very big. Happy to answer any queries you may have, Reduced to £400! Collection from Huddersfield or potentially Leicester, OR I can post it at buyers expense. Matt P Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Hello, would you be able to tell me what the string spacing at the bridge is please. Thanks. Matt
JwK94 Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 Sure, string spacing at the bridge is 18mm
alyctes Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Very nice colour If I was playing fives, I'd be thinking hard about it... but no, so just a free bump.

JwK94 Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Not exact no (Don't have any scales), but I'd say it was just under 5kg. Cheers
therealting Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 90s Japanese Yamahas are superb. My TRB6 was my first bass and the build quality is incredible.
