I really wanted to go and see them in Bristol, but failed miserably to do anything about it...

That's how I usually am....but I have been thinking I ought to make more of an effort....

Went to see URoy and Junior Murvin in Cambridge a while ago....it was shamefully underattended, and these are princes among men...ever since then, and also missing one of Lou Reed's last appearences...I remind myself that true greatness must be acknowledged....

Police and thieves by junior Murvin was one of the first basslines I learnt aged 14 in 1977 , great tune , and I’m still playing it 😀

I will be seeing Carmen Appice with Vanilla Fudge on 3/21 in a very small Milwaukee bar.

Gang Of Four is playing the same bar this week.

Blue

Would love to see Gang of Four.  I work in Leeds, where they're from, but have never seen them.

Got tickets for Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul in Leeds (May), and also Nick Lowe in Hull in June. Really looking forward to 'em both.

Woo hoo!

I saw Little Stevie and his Disciples in 1983! Reading IIRC, same years as Stevie Ray Vaughan on his first UK tour.

(He was quite a bit smaller then 🙂 )

Yeah, I saw Little Steven and the D of S either 82 (or 83?) in a small club in Newcastle, then again in 2017 in Manchester and 2018 at Whitley Bay. All were superb gigs, especially the recent ones. 15 piece band firing on all cylinders, can’t wait till May. New album due out around then too.  😊

The Supersonic Festival in Birmingham is looking amazing this year, among others:

Neurosis

Godflesh

Yob

Dalek

Anna Von Hausswolff

I'll even give Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs another go.

Maybe I'll go and see Neurosis + Yob too...

That day of the festival is sold out. But Yob, Godflesh and Neurosis are playing in London on the 20th July. But that might be sold out too...

I live in Italy, I wouldn't go to UK Just to attend a gig :P

they will play in Milan in May or June, I can't remember the date now :)

edit: July.

Ah. I've not picked up on you living in Italy :D

I've driven from Wales to the Netherlands (Germany side) for gigs.

I would do that, if I had company.
